Keith Harring created art meant to be seen and enjoyed by everybody.
I love that about him and his work-- so beautifully simple yet inclusive. There is no explicit environment or narrative in his pieces that you have to try to uncover—you get to make it up. It is unifying work. Using lots of color and nonrepresentational people, the work can be about everyone. It can be about us all coming together and enjoying one another’s company. So, I wanted to be part of it and I decided to make simple looping gifs of his work!
